Wide-open ridgelines and sweeping views over the Wenatchee Valley.
Sage Hills climbs from the edge of Wenatchee into open shrub-steppe ridgeline, with trails that reward a modest climb with wide views over the valley, the Columbia River, and the Cascades beyond. It's part of the connected Wenatchee Foothills preserve network.
Each fall, local students visit Sage Hills as part of our field school program, learning shrub-steppe ecology on the same trails open to the public every day of the year.
