Who We Are

A community-supported land trust serving Chelan and Douglas counties since 1984.

Since 1984

Founded by neighbors who wanted to protect this valley for good.

Chelan-Douglas Land Trust began as a grassroots effort among landowners and residents who saw the shrub-steppe hills above Wenatchee changing fast, and wanted to make sure some of it stayed wild, open, and shared.

Four decades later, we're still community-led: funded by members, guided by a volunteer board, and grounded in relationships with the landowners who choose to conserve their property.
